I watch almost all of the "reality shows". I can't help it, I'm hooked. My favorites are The Amazing Race, Survivor, Big Brother and others. Also love Lost, Jericho, American Idol, and Days Of Our Lives.
Books
I like to get boxes of books at sales around town, and read a variety.
About me: Let me tell you a little about me and my store. I am located in beautiful Cape Coral, Florida. I'm sure you can figure out one of the most popular things to do around here is go to the beach. I'll bet you didn't know that going to thrift stores is also very popular. It's true, there's practically one on every corner! You could spend the whole weekend visiting different stores, and never get to them all.(Believe me, I've tried) From church thrift stores, to hospital auxiliary stores, to Goodwill, and Salvation Army, we have them all. Ever since moving here from Michigan a few years ago, I have become quite a familiar face in my local stores.
What I have realized is that it can be exhausting going to all those stores and sometimes I still come home empty-handed! I have decided to bring thrift store shopping to everyone. Now, even if it's below zero and you're in a blizzard, you can satisfy your urge to shop without ever leaving the house! One of the main features I am working on is a Request Page. On this page you can ask me to "keep an eye out" for something you've been looking for, or are having trouble finding in your area. If I find something I think you might like, I'll send you an email. Also, if there is a category of things I don't currently have listed that you would like to see, let me know. Here's a little info on me. I am a 29-year-old stay at home wife. I take care of 1 husband, 2 dogs, 2 cats, and 4 fish.(And a partridge in a pear tree) I enjoy cooking, landscaping, cleaning the house(I really do!), karaoke, reality TV, and of course going to garage sales, auctions, thrift stores, and discount stores. Matter-of-fact, I recently picked up a box full of old recipes from magazines, books, handwritten, etc. Some are over 40 yrs old! I am typing up a cookbook for my own personal use compiled from all these recipes. I LOVE doing stuff like that! How much did I pay for all the recipes? Nothing! The woman I got them from had put the boxes in a "free pile" at her garage sale, thinking no one would want them. I was so excited, I couldn't wait to get home so I could go through them. When I'm done with them I will pass them on to others who can also enjoy them.
Who I'd like to meet: Frugal, thrifty shoppers just like me. Anyone that loves going to thrift stores, garage sales, and auctions. People who know you can find new, brand name clothing-you just have to know where to look. All collectors and pack rats. New families on a budget with no time to shop at all the stores.
