Broadway Divas who can sing their face off, and Classic Rock guitar players!!! If you play piano and sing for me I'll just melt!(try it! :) ) Rappers with an interesting flow, and something unique to say. I don't give a damn about what
you drink, what you wear or what you ride,,,I don't know, rap about your investment strategy and how smart you
were to acquire property with the money from your
publishing rights (maybe that's not a hit. lol) I love mixes, especially done LIVE. (A GOOD mixer is an artist creating live art. ~Already getting grief for this one! Yes, with someone else's music,,but it's the combination
of sound and movement and the direction of energy...

I just found a new show!!!!!!! I LOVE it! It's called "In Treatment" on HBO. I've heard people were really bored by this, but I find it fascinating!!!!!!!!!
The Sopranos~ I hate violence and I still LOVE this show. I want to know WHY everyone does what they do. American Idol is fun, because I love singers, but don't you feel manipulated everytime you watch it? Oh, right, I'm the only one that watches it. lol The Dog Whisperer~No, I don't even have a dog, but I love how Cesar directs his energy, and teaches others.
Books
Autobiographies of all kinds of people. I just read one by a female brain surgeon explaining her world. I love to learn peoples paths.
Find a book of Rumi poetry. I like the Coleman Barks translations. This is one my favorites~

the week and you are likely to hear Lisa's voice
on the air. Her smoothed out delivery and relaxed
style are a perfect compliment to the Love Songs she
plays. Lisa's ability to connect with the audience
has them sharing some of their most personal stories
every night.
"I don't base my show on celebrities. There are
certainly some interesting things they do that come
up in conversation, but I am more interested in real
life. What is happening with you. How is your love,
your life? The music inspires emotion, and that's
where the conversation begins".
Industry recognition has been a bonus, "Best Night Show"
is definitely a nice award to have, but if you ask her
the greatest reward she will tell you, "I learn so much from
the people I talk to".

I'm proud of the stations I have been a part of.
Each team was unique and I have fantastic memories
of the things we accomplished in the industry and
our communities. I was so young when I started on
the air, that I really had no concept of how large
an impact we made. I have taken those experiences
with me to cities with completely different
flavors,,,but you know what? Love is always the
same no matter where we are. I carry stories with
me from all of these people over the years that I
have spoken with.
I can sometimes seem impatient when I'm starting a
conversation. (I'm working on it, I promise!!!) I don't mean
to be, I just know that there is a reason why we are talking,
and I want to start at the core and go deeper
from there. Ihave also heard my questions and conversations can get pretty direct(and a bit intense). I'm NOT trying to change that. I want to know who you really are, not what you think everyone wants you to be.
You all know the most important part of my life is
being a Mommy. I was a mom to people long before
I ever was a real one LOL. I can't help it, that's
just my my energy, it's just who I am. I have a
beautiful son who is my world, my heart, and an amazing kid.
Old friends (You are never forgotten even if we
haven't spoken in years!) and new ones. Please
reach out. I'm always happy to hear from you.

Talk to people you have never talked to before, and actually listen. Hold your head up, because you have the right too. Tell yourself you are a great individual and believe in yourself. For if you don't believe in yourself, no one else will believe in you either.
Realize that other people’s opinions of you are theirs alone and have very little to do with you. No one else really knows what you’re capable of. When you allow others to have their reaction without taking ownership of it yourself, you empower yourself.
