oliver is in desperate need of a home. he's an extremely loving and sweet cat. he has a virus called feline leukemia that could one day affect his immune system. at the moment, he's just fine, other than a chronic upper respiratory infection. (that means, he gets sneezy sometimes).
feline leukemia can be spread from cat to cat by saliva, so oliver should be the only kitty in his new home. he can live with other cats who are positive with the virus though. the virus cannot be spread to dogs, small animals or humans. speaking of canines...oliver loves dogs! almost as much as he loves people.
oliver has been neutered, microchipped, de-flead, de-wormed, and he's up to date on his shots, including rabies.
if you can't adopt oliver yourself, maybe you know someone who doesn't have any cats at home who is looking for a wonderful, super-friendly cat to call their own. or maybe you know someone who already has a FeLV cat who needs a companion. oliver really is a wonderful cat and he desperately wants a home where he can be loved and give love...

i'm inspired by the earth and all the beauty within it. we should be taking much better care of it.
i'm inspired by the amazing creatures we share this earth with. we should be showing them much more respect.

i figure this is 'myspace.' so here's 'mystory' in my own words:
i'm a singer and a songwriter. i enjoy both immensely, though as of late i haven't done much writing. i know now that the creative well hasn't completely run dry, as i actually started and finished a song recently. good thing!
i love singing with other people. i'm pretty good at harmonies, so people hire me to sing on their records and at live shows. to me, there's something special about sharing a persons music with them. sharing their voice, so to speak. over these past few years i've started to enjoy this more than playing my own solo shows.
a few people on myspace that i've had the pleasure of singing with:
one of my favourite things is being a part of the ladybird sideshow. i get my harmony fix with them, and they're the sweetest, funniest, most talented group of ladies you'll ever meet. they're all hot too.
i've done some touring in my day. i love it. i've been to holland and germany a few times. went to japan with jakalope. toured across canada a bunch. that's always a good time. the ladybird sideshow did a show in cuba, and a couple shows in maui. trippy huh? one day i'd like to tour in australia. (any aussie myspacers wanna help me out with that?)
i'm a vegetarian. i don't use or wear anything derived from, or tested on animals.
i like to take pictures. i'm no pro but i enjoy photography quite a lot.
here's some
photos i took
i have many pets. almost all were adopted from shelters. if you're considering sharing your life with an animal, please adopt from a shelter or rescue. your new friend will be forever thankful.

Hi Lisa, What a beautiful myspace home you have here. I really love your song Brown Haired Angel- superb!
Lisa sung on two of my songs at Grant Avenue Studio in Hamilton back in 2003 (Highschool and The Strain) in which her vocals just bring out the chorus and bridges so beautifully! A real talent! Thanx for the friendship. Drop by and say hi when you get a chance. Maceman
Hey lisa Im a friend of Rob Lamothes, Im just sitting here in flyers cafe Listening to some of your beautiful songs, I especially enjoy the Mother Earth songs. Hope to see you out here in Dunnville at some point.
