About me:
I write books, stories, and grocery lists.
In my past life I've written TV specials for Mickey Mouse, menus for Red Lobster, and and penned a speech for a president of the United States. I've been kicked out of the Official Olympic Torch Run by the police, and was once a hand model and got paid in chocolate.
My debut novel MILLICENT MIN, GIRL GENIUS has won numerous accolades, including the Sid Fleischman Humor Award.
Second book, STANFORD WONG FLUNKS BIG-TIME was recently named American Library Association Notable book and the NEW YORK POST called it, "a heartfelt, funny story about a loveable underdog."
In 2007, SO TOTALLY EMILY EBERS, the third in the trilogy published by Arthur A. Levine Books/Scholastic, debuted and an American Girl novel called GOOD LUCK, IVY was also released.
ABSOLUTELY MAYBE, a YA novel about a girl who runs away to Hollywood to find the father who doesn't even know she exists, and the first of a chapter book series called JUST BOBBY come out in 2009.
