I’m a recent transplant to North Carolina from having lived all my life in Florida. I have always been an avid reader of all sorts of things, history being among my favorites. And music…music has always been a great and important part of me. I began writing stories when I was in Jr. High with the content being highly inappropriate for a young teenager. My girl friends and I would pass around these stories and they would add their own voices to them making them a wonderful escape for us all.
As I got older, I moved away from writing. I got married and had kids, and lived a normal suburban life. But, deep inside was the burning desire to write, to return to those naughty stories and little by little that is what I have done. Having moved up to North Carolina, I joined a writer’s group, became close with other writers of similar genre, and find myself hungering for more words than my mind can spill out. This has been one of my lifelong dreams and I am finally making it come true.
