Dette er noe av det absolutt vakreste som har kommet fra sommerøya Stord på lange
tider! Bandet deltok på Sunnhordlandsmesterskapet i Rock hvor de imponerte oss såpass at de nå er klare for Haugaland Kraft Arena Maritim Hall som support for Thomas Dybdahl lørdag 17 juni! (Rockfest 06)

struper på lange, lange tider. De unge damene Hanne Bergheim på gitar og Ella Helen Bukkøy på fiolin, begge vokalister, utstråler vennlighet, mystikk, nostalgi og harmoni både lyd og i farge. Jentene har på kort tid gjort seg uhyre populære og attraktive, og har i tillegg til et stort antall egne spillejobber det siste året dessuten varmet opp for store norske navn som for eksempel Minor Majority, Thomas Dybdahl og Tucos Lounge. CD: Duoen Hanne Bergheim og Ella Helen Bukkøy utgjør bandet List. De har hatt en stigende formkurve siden første opptreden på Ungdommens Kulturmønstring for flere år siden. Allerede da hadde noe særegent; fiolin, akustisk gitar og to jentevokaler.EP-en «Excuse Me While I disappear» inneholder fem låter med melankolsk og stillfaren visepop. «Lovers Bed» minner litt om Vamp med sine friske fiolintakter. De andre låtene er roligere. Lyden er frisk og produksjonen fra ABC Studio god. List har mer å gå på, kanskje gjøre flere kjappe låter og hvorfor ikke bruke norsk neste gang? De to jentene blir supplert med både bass, perkusjon og elgitar. Det lyder vakkert, men kanskje litt for teatralsk i vokalen på «Loving Desperately» som har et artig lydbilde. List consists of two beautiful girls from the west coast of Norway. They started playing together in 2004, and it has been a perfect match ever since. The word «list» can mean to move cautiously or it can reflect the cunningness of the female gender. So if the music doesn't carefully sweep you off the ground, the two girls will trick you into enjoying their music. Either way, you'll end up loving them.
Hanne Bergheim is the duo's excellent writer and composer, while Ella Helén Bukkøy beautifully creates the melody for her violin and voice, and she can best be described as a mood maker. And the mood is definitely a good one. If someone were to describe their music, they would have a problem. Hanne is playing her guitar and Ella Helén her violin. They both sing, and the two voices match each other perfectly. Hanne has a deep, profound voice, whilst Ella Helèn has the high and powerful voice. Together, they create a most unique kind of music. They claim their music is sad, but also nice. A bit hard to categorise then, but it's mostly calm and downbeat. Though, watch out for the exceptions!
The lyrics deal with love and life, just like the two girls. Hanne is writing a lot, and in both English and Norwegian. The girls are experiencing fantastic feedback at every concert, and the fan base consists of everything from teenagers to senior citizens.
In the fall of 2007 big things started to happen for List. They started to work with Asle Dahl. Through his connections they were able to record their first EP (“Excuse me while I disappear”) in studio, and they brought with them a full band. After some changes, they have now established a band who regularly plays with them at concerts, and they will also be joining List in studio for their first album recording this fall. The band consists of a drummer, Lars "Topho" Nordtveit, a guitarist, Harald Espeland and bass player, Anders Helliesen. The three guys bring a lot of power to the sound, and the concerts are a unique experience.
In Norway they have now started to make a name for themselves, and they have been warming up for and playing alongside many great names. Many people have noticed them, and the future is looking bright for List.
