When it debuted in February 2008 at San Diego’s legendary Casbah, Listening to Rocks was intended to be a one-time collaboration of local musicians. The energy and excitement pouring off the stage at that show created an unstoppable momentum that has carried them all over town, knocking down musical barriers and opening ears along the way. Everywhere music lovers congregate, from intimate rooms like Lestat’s Coffee House to major venues including the House of Blues, Listening to Rocks delivers sonic kicks to the head and sneaks a little something to think about in through the cracks.
