D-vide, born as David in Groningen, moves to Westervoort when he's only 2. Naturally, David and his parents rushed on supersonic speed to this little village.
In his early years D-vide listens to a lot of music, no matter what style, as long as they're making good music.
About how he got started with rap music D-vide says: "I don't remember the first rap-track I could rap along with, but I think it was Dr. Dre & Eminem with "Forgot About Dre" (Chronic 2001 album, 1999). At the age of 15 D-vide would write his first rap and a year later his first battle rap.
One thing follows the other, people liked it. So D-vide started recording tracks and his debut EP "Symfomaan", meaning symphomaniac, will be released in.. whenever.
