   About The Ethics
"One would be hard-pressed to find music more melodic and lyrics more wistful than that of the Ethics” (Adrian Harewood CBC Radio). Fresh on the heels of releasing their sophomore record, At Cities’ End, The Ethics continue to further the intrigue the band has cultivated over the last 3 years. Album No. 2 captures the urban romanticism and beauty of their debut release, Even the Stars, while adding groove and playfulness. This Ottawa quartet offers a unique and fresh sound which leave listeners enticed but not knowing what to compare it to. Comparisons range from harmony-driven classic rock bands such as Steely Dan and Fleetwood Mac to contemporary artists like Wilco and Broken Social Scene. The Ethics are becomingly increasingly known for their energetic and dynamic live shows where the chemistry and interplay of the 4 musicians (Kevin Hersak – vocals guitar; Jeff Gleeson – guitar; Paul Ross – drums; Matt Arnold – bass) is fully evident.
