- Every Friday night is Pretentious Artist Night here at The Lit! Master painter Tim Herron and his brave band of artists sketch portraits. Feel their pain - bask in their greatness!

- Second Thursday of every month is Poetry Night at The Lit! Come and groove with Goldberg and Nick Traenkner, master poets!

- And, if that is not enuff, The Literary Cafe Talk show with Richard Trainer is shot here and features a wide variety of poets, bands, deviants, and misfits! You just just NEVER know who will be on The Literary Cafe Talk Show!

    - May Holly get her teaching certificate and not end up in the news someday for seducing a minor.

    - May I get my hands on the lesbian porn movies my friend Laticia starred in

    - May someone front me a hooker and a bottle of liquor

    - May the sociopathetic son of a whore I worked for for two months this year be on an airplane that blows up in midair

    - May the president of Iran find a bomb under his Christmas tree

    - May the S.O.B. who blew his load all over the restroom stall adjacent to mine at Cleveland Playhouse find a "log" under his Christmas tree.

    - May my enemies die horrible, agonizing, lingering deaths, and their souls and the souls of their children and their children's children endure eternal torment and suffering in the fires of Hell

    - May the Spirit of Christmas live in each of us all year round
