Lady in the Radiator is two things. Firstly, she is a fictional character portrayed by Laurel Near in the David Lynch film Eraserhead (1977) that sang a song called "In Heaven", later to be covered by the Pixies.
Secondly, Lady in the Radiator is an indie(whatever that means these days)-rock band from Arlington, Virginia consisting of four relatively-young upstarts.
Formed out of middle school gym class in 2003, the band has since played a few shows, written a few tunes, and formed a successful PandaWich. At the moment the band is attempting to write and record while attending different schools and universities - all of which are unfortunately unevenly spaced across the east coast. Ingrid Pierre is currently enrolled at Harvard University in Cambridge, MA (we added that bit to show off, cheeky eh?)
