Little Band

Bio:

Little Band was founded by István Bocskai - fan for the American and Hungarian folk music, guitarist and vocalist of Rodeo and Bluegrass Union, rightly popular bands in German speaking countries in the eighties – at the end of 2009 with Péter Strausz’s and Gábor Szabó „Suvi”’s in order to invoke – through its music spiced with Hungarian folk music – the inward, familiar and fellowship creating atmosphere of America of the thirties and fifties for the people of 21st century. Within this program you can enjoy some classical rock music in a special humorous adaptation. At the end of 2010 Mihály Tóth - playing on cajon, a very special percussion instrument - joined to our band, and his sense of humor is contributing also to the success of our performance. The last news concerning us is that Little Band won the 3rd place in trio category at the Country Music Award held in Pullman City, Germany on the 13th November 2010, meeting with a great public success. Finally we have only one request: please listen to our band’s music while having some beer and decide if you enjoyed it or not. We hope you do.
