About me:
I'm an old man whose final wish here at the end of his long, hard life is to send messages of hope and blessing to people -- young or not -- who were (or are being) sexually abused as I was in childhood (see the attached picture of Billy who's me at 7) and adolescence. I've been through it all and understand at least some of what torture does to humans. I also know a lot about surviving. I am the Billy who wrote grandfather comments to Z and all of you. I am gay. I am infuriated by the lustful, greedy people like Love in Action in my country who need to convince others that God hates gay people and who want us pushed to the margins of human society, sacrificing us to preserve their dominance and stupidity and to satisfy the starved, twisted, and unnatural sex drives on the bodies and souls of gay people. I have heard all their arguments and know how to answer them. People who attempt to do what they are attempting to do to ZACH are no more Christian or 'straight' than a lump of ... coal. ('Coal' is not what I mean!) They are a ring of sexual abusers of a particularly ugly sort. They are abusing each one of our childhoods I am out here in New Mexico ready and willing to help you or any abused person -- straight or gay -- in any way I can. Billy wants to talk with you. Don't despair. Don't give up. Find the courage God's pouring into you, whether you know it or not. Don't chicken out on those who ARE GOING TO love you. Shed light. Homosexuality's one of the ways God created for women and men to reach most deeply into his heart. It is one of the flowerings of the Holy Spirit. As is bi-sexuality and true heterosexuality. Don't believe anyone who says being gay or bi is an intrinsic tendency to evil. Don't believe anyone who says it is a disease or anti-American. They are lying and their lies are blasphemy. DON'T KILL OR HURT YOURSELF BECAUSE THEY SAY YOU MUST. All child abuse is homophobic; all homophobia is an attempt to justify raping young people. Raping young people is molesting God Himself. Don't desert Him; He needs you to love Him. God is the God of the persecuted; God is NOT the God of persecutors. God is the God of the Victims. My name is Bill Congdon.
