About me:
Welcome to the LittleBirdMagazine Myspace.
LittleBirdMagazine is a Liverpool based arts fanzine. We write about all kinds of stuff: visual arts, poetry, dance, sculpture, music, film, events, local history, performance art, architecture, community arts, theatre, festivals etc
We ask everyone we feature or interview to drawn us a pigeon. Most of the pictures don’t look like pigeons but that’s ok, ‘pigeon’ is more of a guide than a rule.
We’ll keep updating this account just to further our delusion that people care what we do and say.
To see PDF’s of LittleBirdMagazine 1, 2 & 3 Click Here . It’d be nice if you enjoyed the magazine but we don’t much care either way.
Thank you, Ed x
If you have been looking for LittleBirdMagazine... who am I kidding? Nobody has been looking for it but if somebody had been looking for it they wouldn't have found it but that's not to say they never will.
Just a quick message to say thank you for being a friend on myspace. I hope all your aspirations in life come true. Regardless of whether you are told this often or not....you are special and valuable. Keep a smile on your face and the ones you love close. Drop by and say hello. I love to hear from everyone. It warms my day to see a message from my myspace friends. So often I loose touch with people because of the pressures of life, but I respond to actual conversation type messages. I often feel bad when I'm unable to post comments, etc on your new content..but I promise if I get a message from you I do check out your page..... At night I have so much time on my hands with my job...3 hrs work and 5 hours internet. Probably the ideal job for most...I would rather be busy...What about you? I have a few close friends on myspace...and they know who they are. Subscribe to my myspace blog and communicate...you can join the group of close frineds..myspace seems so impersonal at times..but we do have the ability to make good friends.
Following the success of the recent 8th Day gig, on Sunday, 15th June at 5pm I'm performing an hour set of POP POEMS. This is to raise funds for the rehoming of greyhounds.
It's £4 / £2 concessions and its on at Mod Pop cafe, under Cafe Pop on Oldham St. All are welcome! Needless to say we'll find somewhere for more drinks and banter after so it'll be a topper evening out.
It'd be magic to see you there. I'd also be grateful if you'd help me advertise the gig by telling / forwarding this message to anyone in Manchester that day who you think would be interested.
I'd like to invite you to a performance i'm doing of some of my new poems
it's on thursday 22nd may 7pm and is at 8th day, a veggie basement cafe in the student bit of the grand city of Manchester.
basically, i have printed a pamphlet of recent poems i've written about food and drink. the shop is giving out these pamplets free in prep for my evening on the 22nd. It'll be a lyrical lather of fruity rhymes and spicy verse.
i'd love it if you could come along to check this out hope you're able to pop down and see.
Greetings Little Bird! We'll look out for you at the Everyman. And if you'd like contributions from our members, let us know any guidelines and we'll put a note about you in our next bulletin.
