I thought "23" was my favorite until I listened to "Ophelia." Big fan of Ophelia. I'm curled up on a chair in my apartment in portland listening to this song on a headset because my roommates are sleeping. i am filled with good, happy, warm feelings. This would be so great to hear live. I love how libby's voice came in in the middle and I love the last minute of the song when the guitar really picks up. i miss your singing jess. come to portland!! :) you can perform in my livingroom.
oh and I think I'm going to name my new bike ophelia when I get it. I think she'll be yellow.
NOTE: i forgot to address there is definitely a statute of limitations involved in that. that was a very long time ago. nothing like that has ever happened since.
i like that flyer of the people covering their ears. remember the show we used that for trav? marine park. i had my black raincoat hood on my head and was wearing it like a cape. we only got to play two songs then somebody called the cops. i remember just hucking my guitar and taking off running. then someone pulled up with the get away vehicle to whisk us away to safety. that was classic
