Welcome to 2011 Well we have been back to the council and are waiting on our permit. The date for this year is 29th 30th October . Not much news at this point but we are talking to some beautiful artists that we hope will join us to celibrate life . Keep an watch on this space. We all so have story tellers and performers all bound to in some way bring you joy in some way.

concession - $75
Families- 2 aduilts and all kids free
Sat only -$75, Sun only -$50

Just to let you know there is plenty of room to stay, so bring your tent and relax, put your feet up and watch the magic happen! The music starts fairly early Saturday so feel free to come set up Friday and start it off early Friday night with MAGIC FROM PAST EVENTS!
On October 31 2008 a very special thing happened. Mark Fissenden, a lover of Music and people turned 50 and decided to have a little festival, and so The Little Buckley Festival was born.
Three days of Music, laughter, sunshine and love, where the Phrase "There's nowhere id rather be" could be heard in every corner.
Some very talented people arrived with their instruments, their children, their beer and their hearts and the festival turned into more than a 50th birthday party.

Mark with the help of Glennie, and Paul went to work on the 'Backyard' and turned a flat corner of the earth into a great event.
Marqee, check, stage, check, sound system, yep, beer tent? yes sir, port-a-loos...of course. Amazing bands....indeed. That's a festival in anyones eyes.

And so the scene was set. The sun was smiling on us.

With the help of Marks good friends Krishna,BONJAH, Mihirangi, The Houses, Johnny Hawken, Tom Teuna, Marc and Jack Skelton....and not forgetting the superband, bought music to all of 3 days. Interpritave dance was rife, and laughter and smiles filled everyones hearts. No greif.

Sounds amazing? Indeed.......So lets do it again next year and see if lighting can strike twice. Mark may only turn fifty once but The little Buckley festival grew some legs of its own that weekend....and so in 2009....It'll be back.
