Little Buddha are a whole different animal live.... Come party with us!!!
Little Buddha are a 5 piece band fronted by Kat McDonald and bassist Grant Tyrie from Scotland. Little Buddha have gigged extensively up and down the UK, including a sell out headline CLUB FANDANGO gig and at BORDERLINE in London and a headline gig at KING TUT's in Glasgow. Over the past few months the band has supported The Airborne Toxic Event during their UK Tour and The Haggis Horns during a rare Scottish tour.
After a horrendous car accident where the bassist Grant Tyrie was seriously injured, Little Buddha had to step down from the UK gig circuit for 18 months. However, this recovery time provided time and space for Grant & Kat to write their debut album, TWISTED. This album was recorded, produced and mixed at THE DOGHOUSE STUDIO near Henley-On-Thames. Little Buddha took their album to STERLING SOUND in NYC to be mastered by legendary mastering engineer, TED JENSEN.
Their visit to the Big Apple generated industry interest in North America. Little Buddha signed a synchronisation deal with OCTOBER TUNES in Canada - a company who supply music to EA Games, UNIVERSAL PICTURES to name but a few...
After spending the winter treading the boards rehearsing and playing live shows and rebuilding a strong local sometimes fanatical support, around their local area of Fife and stretching as far as Glasgow, Stirling and Inverness, Little Buddha have now confirmed a 6 week tour of the USA from the beginning of June through to the middle of July and are currently planning a UK tour on their return.
