Influences
The way things are right at this moment. Here and now.
Sounds Like
21st Century Blues - songs for the new dust bowl. Good times - bad times, highs and lows. The sounds of rattling against the banging stable door of yesterday with a wake up call for tomorrow.
To live outside the law - you must be honest.
That's what this music is - honest.
There are no trix, no slight of hand. These are the facts. listen to the words - some of them are maybe not what you want to hear - but that's the problem with the truth.
So - these stories ask you to make some effort - that's what we do - we all have to try. That's what they sound like - a band trying to do the best we can in a real and true way.
Little Devils are a South London based band playing 21st Century blues.
We have a nucleous of six members and are often augmented by other friends who pop in to add their bits.
We are just finishing mastering an album, called "This is how it starts...." and hope to have that in the shops by mid May. The album features 14 self compositions and is sounding pretty wonderful - if I may make so bold.
We have a few simple videos on www.youtube.com/LittleDevilVideos of some early mixes of:
The River;
Another Pack of Lies;
Little Devil.
Check these out as a taster for the album.
We play regularly around the South East London area and when the weather gets warmer - we have been known to venture into various fields and make a little noise there too.
At the moment, we are playing at The Montague Arms, Queens Road, New Cross Gate, SE15 on the last Thursday of every month. As soon as we get the mastering of the album finished we will be increasing the gigs - so this will change soon.
