Little Feat
Bio:
For four decades, Little Feat has been billed as one of the best live rock n’ roll bands ever. They also remain one of the most active. Little Feat is Paul Barrere, guitar and vocals; Bill Payne, keyboards and vocals; Fred Tackett, guitar/mandolin/trumpet and vocals; Gabe Ford, drums and vocals; Kenny Gradney, bass; and Sam Clayton, congas and vocals. Since the band was formed by Lowell George in 1969, Little Feat has always has been well received by fans and critics. But for most of its existence, the band has never been exactly mainstream. Nonetheless, Little Feat has survived and thrived under the radar because its music is important, influential and has tremendous multigenerational magnetism. The band’s lasting appeal among fellow musicians – both individually and collectively – also is unmistakable. They are pros’ pros and have collaborated with icons such as Bob Dylan, Brian Wilson, Bonnie Raitt, Robert Plant, and John Lee Hooker. They also have toured or worked on albums individually with the Doobie Brothers, Pink Floyd, the Allman Brothers and Ringo Starr. Their presence in rock is important and someday – hopefully soon – Little Feat will be inducted into the Rock n’ Roll Hall of Fame.

Thanks for the friendship, huge fans, all the best from across the 'Pond'
The MSA
You guys are totally inspiring. Today, you sound as good as, probably better than, you did when I first heard you, thirty years ago. Piano, acoustic slide, and those vocals - a magic combination.
darn snow kept me from going to the show last night. hope you had a great one
Nothing to say except - thanks for the cool atmosphere
Happy New Year to the worlds best band ever see you in Vermont next week 2011 hope its a bit of HEAVEN!
Love my Little Feat, did not know about Richie, one of my absolute favorite drummers, R.I.P Richie , You were a huge influence on several generations of drummers and music lovers ! you will be missed !
Looking forward to your show in Morristown, New Jersey..We will be there!! We will miss Richie!!!
RIP Richie. I am so sad to hear that Richie Hayward has passed away. I just loved the way he played drums and he was and is a huge influence om me as a drummer. He was the ultimate groover. nobody could lay down a groove like he could. This is a sad day.
Sad news about Richie, bless his soul. We were so incredibly lucky to see the rest of you guys at my local venue, Falmouth, Cornwall this week. What a fantastic night! A big thanks for coming!
You guys were awesome at Cropredy. A fantastic tribute to a fantastic guy. Love peace & happiness from the Brighton dj who cares.
