Mellow country rock born from years of playing basement punk shows. Christian DeRoeck spent a good chunk of the past decade leaning on the whammy bar in Meneguar, and was one of the two founding songwriters in Woods. Now he joins up with bassist Brian Markham and drummer Pat Broderick and spins some tunes that are a bit more down home than his previous work, but still as ragged and catchy as ever. Replete with killer 12-string leads and psychedelic autoharp musings.
