anybody and nobody ranging from Ella Fitzgerald to Tom McRae via the Buckleys and incorparating some Billie Holiday. poets such as simon armatage and william blake to artists such as David Shrigley but most importantly the people in my life that bring me joy and also bring me to my knees. So anybody and nobody you know who you are..........

We can't have the happiness of yesterday without the pain of today. That's the deal.
Formed from the remains of curbar and the remains of myself after everything around me came crashing down. I fell out of love with music for a good 6 months and think that the world may have well fallen out of love with me, after realising for the last time that maybe i do have a purpose and without being arrogant maybe a talent, maybe not, i chose to start to write again.
After 6 months of falling over words and melodies in my mind here i am to play for friends, loved ones and those who i do not know yet, all of my songs are deeply personal to me and those around me whether they know it or not. Some of the songs played on here will never be played live for fear of not making it to the end but on here i can hide like a corward and not watch peoples reactions to them.
I hope that this has given you an insight into why i perform and play, until we meet again this is a humble littlelostdavid; saying goodbye.

I do like your music. 'Letting Go' is a smashing tune. I thought it might be like McCartney's 'Letting Go' which is also super. It wasn't like that song, it was different but still rather splendid.
