DISTANT WARNING, of course! And just about anything that actually has musical value. I listen to anything from Bach to Atreyu. It all depends on my mood. When I write, I want something instrumental with lots of passion, or something with a romantic, sexy feel that makes me want to make love.
Movies
Doom, Lord of the Rings Trilogy, Queen of the Damned, Kingdom of Heaven, Troy, Rundown, lots of foreign films. Anything about vampires, werewolves. Romance, of course!

Food Network, TLC, Discovery...any version, History...any version, and as many movies as I can fit in my day.
Books
Just about anything in the genre Romance...especially Rosemary Rogers and Johanna Lindsay. I love Clive Cussler and Dean Koontz. There are really way to many to mention.
A Rose in Winter is probably my ultimate fav. Oh, and writings by Kahlil Gibran.
Heroes
My heroes would be my children. We have been through so much in the last 6 yrs. They are wonderfully resiliant, and tough as nails. We've made it this far, and the rest is in God's hands.

First and formost, I am a mother of 9. No, that's not a typo. I really have biologically had 9 beautiful children. I also shared 4 more with my deceased husband, so ovbiously, I was widowed. I am a writer of Passion. Sometimes that takes on the form of Romance, other times, it's a little more juicy. Once in a while I throw in a little fear or fantasy. Many times it's an erotic combination of all of these.
Thank goodness I made the choice 3 1/2 yrs ago to move back to my hometown of Colorado Springs because that's how I re-met the love of my life, Andrew. We have known each other for 27 years! He is the most amazing man. Gentle, giving, sweet.
I have loved a few men in my day, and thought I might have been in love with a few women. However, Andrew has shown me that I can like someone as much as I love them. He has stepped up and not only taken on the responsibility of our child together, but also my children who no longer have their other Daddy.
After 6 1/2 years of recovery from a severe motorcycle accident, my brain in finally beginning to put words together again. It was a scary, but wonderful process to feel my mind begin to connect words with thoughts again. Now I am anxious to get back to work. I have some major catching up to do. Oh, but the process is exciting! So, watch out writing world! Here I come; back on track and kickin' ass!
So, for those of you I have added that are writers, thank you for your inspiration and support. For those I have added that are models, photographers, etc., thank you for a different kind of inspiration. You help me add just the right look to my characters, or perhaps just the right attitude, or carriage.
Thank you to my personal friends and family for just being there and understanding how hard the journey has been to find myself, and get the parts back that were worth keeping. LOVE YOU!

Who I'd like to meet: Johanna Lindsay, Rosemary Rogers. Kahlil Gibran. As many writers as I can, just because I know we don't think like the rest of the world. It's hard to live in this one when we are off creating others! Really great musicians. You know, the ones that you can hear their passion in the music.
