Little Phineas performs a variety of "roots" oriented R&R/R&B, seasoned with a taste of Cajun and a pinch of Reggae.
Little Phineas started his musical life during High School, singing doo-wop
on any available street corner, hallway, basement, bathroom, or anywhere he had the opportunity. We didn't call it doo-wop then. You just got together to hit some harmony. We didn't need instruments, which was good because nobody played any.....at least not then...that came later. Times change, music changes, but sometimes you just want to go back to your roots. It doesn't get more basic than 4 or 5 voices coming together in harmony.
Currently Little Phineas performs a mix of roots oriented R&R and R&B, Cajun , Reggae, and some Country - and plays keyboards or guitar to back up his vocals.
The "Doo-Woppin' in Birdland" CD was a chance for Little Phineas to return to the street corner and pay homage to some of those great vocal groups of the 1950's.
The "Doo-Woppin' In Birdland" album is available on CD, or for MP3 digital download through the good folks at CD Baby.
