Little Red Rabbit Records is an artist-run label based in Manchester set up to release work by members and associates. The roster stretches from the singer-songwriter folk-pop of Anna Kashfi and Crazy Man Michael through to the psyche-post-rock of Fuzzy Lights via the sprawling collective Last Harbour. We make art and films too and also promote shows occasionally.

CURRENT RELEASES:
Lazarus Clamp: Against Entitlement Vinyl LP (with free CD) (LRR014)
SUNDAY TIMES: "Their fifth album lays articulate and considered lyrics, softly but precisely intoned, over unexpectedly experimental textures and deconstructed skinny guitar licks, with folksy banjo flourishes and gently lowing strings."
MANCHESTER EVENING NEWS: "A snug, warm blanket of a record, it weaves sumptuous folk arrangements with bucolic country-pop, stretching the nu-folk template in exciting and dynamic ways on a par with contemporaries like Sufjan Stevens and Bon Iver."
Raw, abandoned Scandinavian folk songs remembered from childhood. Stunning package including hand-printed translated lyric booklet and letterpressed chipboard sleeve courtesy of Incline Press in Oldham.
PLAN B: "This beautifully presented debut LP from a Norwegian brother-sister duo sees the traditional folk melodies of their homeland wrestled into new, rough-hewn arrangements - the Nyhuus pair imbue their readings with irrepressible sincerity."
Brain-meltingly gorgeous package from the masters of drama-rock. Limited to 350, including hand screen-printed sleeves and inserts.
CHANNEL 4 PLANET SOUND: "A dark, drunken waltz, Kevin Craig's cavernous vocals out-gloom Tindersticks as the mournful strings kidnap your soul. Equally grimy and gorgeous. 8/10."

LAST HARBOUR : 'Dead Fires & the Lonely Spark' CD album (LRR005) £8 plus postage and packing. Buy now from Little Red Rabbit
PLAN B: “swooning dustbowl baroque, blackly turbulent like 16 Horsepower or Lift To Experience.”
LONDON TOUR DATES: “A brooding, country-noir masterpiece.”
PLAN B: “Just perfect... moody rock with violin that's part hushed classicism and part crumbling intensity. Sometimes words aren't needed.”
LATE JUNCTION (RADIO 3): "The East of England's answer to Dirty Three."
HUW STEPHENS (RADIO 1): "Gorgeous."
CLASH: "An ambitious debut, the sound here harks back to the 60s folk clubs and the future greats who played there. This is a diverse showcase for Crazy Man Michael and today’s vibrant folk tradition.”
BIG ISSUE: “A timeless folk sound… inspired by the cursed romanticism of a Bronte novel.”
