ZOMBIES ATE MY UPDATE 10.02.09
It's been a long time since I put up a news update. I have been crazy busy with work, which is a good thing, since I don't like sleep much. I have done so many projects and put up so many myspace layouts since my last update that I can't really list all of them, but I will put up one. Check out this layout for some nice dudes in Leviath.

Next weekend brings National Zombie Day. I will be attending the zombie walk at the Monroeville Mall, outside of Pittsburgh. That's where they shot the original Dawn of the Dead. It is also a food drive, so if you are in the area you should stop by to see the Zombie Olympics and drop off some cans of food. It's for a good cause. (NOTE: do not bring severed limbs. They will spoil before the food bank gets them to where they need to go.)

My laptop fried 2 days ago. It's dead and gone, but I got a new one, a better one and I am back up and running. Since then I have launched 2 new myspace layouts for some fine folks in the following bands. Stop by and say hi to them.

This week there has been a lot going on. Finished up a layout for a band from Germany. I will be launching that tomorrow. I also have a few other layouts almost finished that will be going up soon. I spent a day in Philly taking pictures for some album artwork and I am more than happy with how that is coming together. Shirts, shirts and more shirts and oh yeah, some more shirts. I have yet to finish the new layout for this page and also my official website. I've been extremely busy with clients and preparing for another art show. My own stuff always gets pushed further and further down the list.

Someone shot my mom's cat. I walked up to her house the other day and found the cat in the yard with bullet holes in him. He was shot 5 times and has lost the use of his hind legs. He also lost most of his teeth since 3 of the gunshots were to his face. He's a tough little guy and we're hoping he recovers.

Ok now for work news. I've just been working hard and trying my best to get back into the swing of things here in the United States. I recently launched some new myspace layouts for some rad bands. Check them out...

BACK IN THE STATES 07.07.09
I have been back in the states for about 2 weeks now and am back to work. I've been pretty busy since I got home so this is the first chance I have had to update. I currently have a ton of projects on my schedule, but I'm always looking for more. If you need something done feel free to message me and let me know.

I will be having an art show within the next few months. I'll be displaying some new paintings and also a bunch of photographs from Brazil and other parts of the globe. If you're in the Philadelphia area you should come out and hang out. I'll have details soon.

JUNGLE STOMACH 06.05.09
I am writing this update from Copacabana in Rio de Janeiro. I came down with a little case of the jungle stomach (if you know what that is then you know it's unpleasant) and a cold front came rolling in, so we decided to take a few days break from the jungle. We traveled a few hundred miles by jeep, boat, foot, bus, taxi (in that order) to Rio de Janeiro to relax and get some more supplies.

We head back to tent paradise on Monday. The city is too loud, crowded and dirty for me. It reminds me of China Town, Philly at home, but without any of the good stuff. I can't wait to get back to my tent, bamboo, rain, bugs and ocean. Where we have been staying is sandwiched right in between an area with mountains, jungle and beach. I couldn't ask for more.

I hope everything back in the states is muito bom.

HOLY CRAP!!! 05.16.09
I am updating this from a dirty internet cafe on a noisey street in Barra Velha, Brazil. We will be staying in a small house in Feiticeira for the next few days while we get supplies and make arrangements for a jeep. After that we will be heading into the jungle, so that means no more internet, no more electricity and no more bed. I am very excited to see our friends who live there. They don..t even know we..re coming. This is the last update I will make for a few weeks. I just wanted to let everyone know that m alive. We have been making a video diary and plan on doing so for the rest of the trip. Once I am home and edit it I will post a link to it in case you are interested in checking it out.

I will be leaving for Brazil within the next few hours. Muito feliz. I'll be gone until June 20. If you need to contact me about a project please email me at littlewhaleart@yahoo.com. I will be staying in the jungle for most of my time there so I'll be without electricity and the internet. That means it will take me awhile to get back to you. I look forward to spending time in Brazil, but i also look forward to coming home and starting on some fresh new projects.

I just put up a new layout for the band RED LIGHT RUN. When you have a minute go check it out and maybe send them a friend request.

I have a bunch more pages to finish coding before I leave next week. I think I will spend the day tomorrow painting for the new AND THEN THERE WAS YOU cd packaging. It's looking pretty awesome so far.

I just launched 2 new pages. First was for THE KIERA PLAN, I also did their photography. The second page is for ROSY LIKES RED. Make sure you check both of them out.

I will be spending the next week or so working on trying to finish up all the projects I have scheduled before I leave for Brazil. I guess I won't sleep much. It'll all be worth it when I'm sharing bananas with the monkeys in the jungle.

PAGE UPDATE... FINALLY 04.30.09
I finally updated the layout a little and added something to the news section. It's been way too long. I've been busy/sick/crazy and everything in between, so it has been hard finding time to work on my own stuff. I plan on doing a whole new layout in the next couple of months. Keep checking back for updates. I'll be updating the news and project sections more often. I'll also be adding a lot more stuff to the RECENT PROJECTS section.

I leave for Brazil 2 weeks from today. I'm trying to get all the projects I have scheduled for people done before I leave. That's going to mean lots of sleepless nights and no showers. If you have something you need me to do before I leave let me know ASAP. I will be gone for 5 weeks and will have no internet/electricity where I will be staying. The jungle doesn't have power lines.

Thanks to everyone who came out to the Art Show and bought something or just showed support. It meant a lot to me. I plan on doing it again later this summer after I return from Brazil.
