Ben "Bongo" Cairns is the musical director and co-founder of the 17 piece Big Band The Rhino Factory and Live 'n' Swingin'. His jazz/cocktail ensemble have performed for many events over the past 5 years and includes everything from a trio to a 10 piece band with male or female vocalists.

The Live n Swingin Orchestra offers unique entertainment derived from the band member's fresh talent and obvious enthusiasm for their music. The atmosphere this group of musicians creates is unparalleled in its magnetism; the air's electric and the crowd is sure to be swinging.
The band's repertoire is both classic and contemporary; featuring both original arrangements and many well known favorites. The band's material is so extensive that depending on the tone The Rhino Factory can range from superb instrumentals, premier female or male vocals through to the moodiest blues featuring the guitar legend Ray Beadle.
Their range includes many jazz classics from the 1940's tunes of Count Basie, Duke Ellington and Ella Fitzgerald through to more recent artists such as Charles Mingus, Maynard Ferguson and the GRP All Stars. Mix in original compositeions and arragments from the band's very own talent and you'll have a varied evening everyone is sure to enjoy.
