About me:

Live Fast Die Young Tattoos is new as a shop, but not lacking artists with experience in the industry. All the staff worked together to make the most accomodating shop they could think of, but it was fate that brought them all together to make it possible. The shop opened in November of 2008 and is located in the historic arts district of North East Minneapolis at 44 Lowry, on the prime intersection of Grand and Lowry. The shop is owned by Scott Elke and Garrett Meyers, both of whom have been tattooing over a decade a piece. Miss Kitty joins them on the tattooing and managerial front, and is also the wife of Scott. She has been tattooing nearly seven years. As a full service shop, piercings are provided by Brittany and it's all held together by Laura Lou, receptionist extraordinaire and marketing specialist. Live Fast Die Young Tattoos has room to grow, with space for three additional artists to work. You can expect many guest artists to make appearances in the near future. The shop is a fully custom tattoo shop and hopes to showcase the numerous art forms the staff creates, including gallery shows and a pinstripe clinic in the shops attached garage this summer. Upcoming events include; the shops inclusion in the Art-A-Whirl, an open-house art gallery feature exclusive to North East Minneapolis arts community. Live Fast Die Young prides itself on being sophisticated in cleanliness while providing the kitsch and comfort of a retro tattoo studio, complete with half a Cadillac and a gas pump inside! We are a completely custom shop, so bring your ideas and we can do the rest. While we do have some flash available for you to look at, we are more than happy to design you a one of a kind tattoo. For your convenience at the shop, we also have an abundance of reference books and free wireless internet to browse images.
