I'm a singer/ songwriter so that is the first thing I have to put down.
My life has become so structured and includes the gym, singing lessons, writing sessions, dance, and even a few acting classes. It has been work, work and more work/ with that said I have never been more focused. I love what I do and want to improve with every day. Seeing where I started and where I am now, there has been growth and I know there will be much more to come.
Other things that interest me- Playing Soccer with friends at the park, traveling, The gym-Love a good workout, the company of others, LAUGHING- I love to laugh, watching movies, Sushi, politics, the zoo, going to thrift stores to find vintage clothing love the 40's and 50's style, swimming and floating a river, listening to music on a record player, wake boarding, theme parks, eating ice cream- (side note) my dad worked for Dryer's when I was a kid so I was basically weaned on Ice Cream, photography, lounging on beautiful beaches, I love a great home cooked meal- miss them since moving to LA, playing games in public with friends--- like looking at people that are talking and talking for them imagining what they are saying(OR) Acting in public with accents (OR)dressing in baggy clothing and big sunglasses and look like a celebrity incognito- Life is truly what you make it, so have some fun.

The complexity of an artistic mind may never be fully understood. As the layers of defense are peeled away and the heart is shown in it's most raw form, the art created proves more powerful than ever imagined. Musically that power comes from the truth within the lyrics and the delivery of the song, I write my lyrics in order to have that connection.
My mind is like a child's in many ways, constantly questioning. I have an innate curiosity that keeps me interested in observing everything around me and soaking in the experiences that come my way. I draw from a life filled with deep pain as well as happiness and triumph. I have gone from a child afraid to speak to a singer and songwriter, fearlessly using my voice.
Below is a fragment of my unfinished story...
At an early age I was told that I was adopted, its my first memory and the one that clearly stands out from all the rest. I was very fortunate to find a home, when sadly many children don't. Still, it was a turning point in my life. I realized that you can't trust what you are told, it opened my eyes and caused me to question everything in life. The truth is, there are people who tell us who to be, what to believe, who to trust, sell us everything, and spread fear. They make profits and gain power off of our insecurities. It is so important to be aware of your inner voice, remember to question, and to keep the light in you growing.
When I moved to L.A. I had nothing financially, I was completely broke. More than being broke, I felt broken and alone. I promised myself that when the good things came I would never forget my past. I knew in my heart that this portion of my life would pass and leave me with strength, determination, a new form of sight, and empathy for those around me. I realize now that I wasn't alone, there are many people who feel what I felt and just knowing that can give others the strength to go on.
As I write this "about me" section I can't help but wonder if there is anything that I could say to express how thankful I am for the support of my friends and fans. It is you that have given me strength, mirrored back to me who I am, educated me, loved me, taught me how to love myself, and I owe you everything. I feel so blessed and will continue to work as hard as I can to reach my goals and make you all proud. This journey is your journey and there is so much to come...
