Live From Bloomington is a division of Indiana University's student programming organization, Union Board, that focuses on local music.
LFB books concerts featuring local and regional musicians on and near the IU campus. We plan a number of different projects to help reach out to the local music community and IU students.
LFB COMPILATION ALBUM AND CLUB NIGHT EVENT
Our biggest annual project is the LFB Compilation CD and Club Night Event. For this, we take submissions from local bands and create a compilation CD. The CD is sold at local businesses and at the Club Night event in April, where the artists on the CD perform at various venues in town. 2010 will be the 25th year for the LFB Project. All proceeds from admission and CD sales are donated to Hoosier Hills Food Bank.

LFB Presents
The Live From Bloomington committee is introducing a new program this year called LFB Presents. The new format is that we will still be putting on live shows with local, regional, and touring bands, but instead of them being in the IMU every Thursday night, they will now be scheduled at various locations in Bloomington. This is to give us a more flexable schedule when booking shows, and allow us to better connect students with the Bloomington scene. Check here if you are just looking for Bloomington venues.
