Founded in 1995, Live From I-5 is a full service entertainment and media consulting/service firm. Initially, Live From I-5 was launched as an entertainment company by Hip-Hop veteran and professional, Luvva J. Luvva J threw legendary parties and rocked immortal clubs since beginning his pro-DJ career at Washington State University in Pullman, WA. While at WSU, Luvva J launched the Hip-Hop/Urban & Latin music departments at KZUU 90.7 FM and was host, producer and director of the legendary Non-Stop Hip-Hop show founded by Luvva J's close associate, Filmmaker Winfield Ezell.
Live From I-5's business model includes broadcast, media management, journalism, public relations, entertainment, marketing/promotion and organizational consulting. Live From I-5 is a mixtape kingdom having spawned more than 250 volumes of mixtapes hosted, mixed and produced by Luvva J since 1989. The mix tape game elevated its role in society and Live From I-5 did the same providing programming consultation for radio/tv/online mediums and developing career, personal and leadership development programs that benefit clients and the general public.
