About me: Y·LIFe is a speaking ministry created to assist churches and church youth groups. It is our desire that all will better understand that Christ not only provides forgiveness of sins but also gives His life to those who believe in Him, to live in them and to live through them!
Y·LIFe was created by Matt and Dani Smith in 2006. Matt does most of the speaking but they enjoy every opportunity to teach together.
Matt is 27 years old and graduated from Baylor University in 2002 with a B.A. in Speech Communication. He served as a youth pastor for 3 and a half years before forming Y·LIFe.
Dani is 28 years old and graduated from Baylor University in 2001 with a B.S. in Elementary Education. She taught for 2 years before becoming a stay-at-home mom.
Matt and Dani have two beautiful girls. Their oldest is 3 and their youngest is 1 and a half.
Matt and Dani love students and love getting to share God's Truth of love, grace, life, and freedom with them. They also love having the opportunity to share with youth workers and parents. We long to see students, families, and churches transformed by the powerful grace of God and to see people set free from the chains of performance-based living.
Hey Matt!! So good to hear from you! I just realized I don't think I ever emailed you back last time. My goodness! Time just gets away from me these days! Life is WONDERFUL! We have 3 kiddos now... a f-year-old girl, her 3-year-old brother, and a 10-month-old little boy. The 10-month-old is totally seperate from the other two. But we are having the TIME of our lives! Congratulations on your new addition!! Take care, and let me know when you're going to be in SA!
It was Great! Everything finally worked out OK. It all seem to be what it was supposed to be and most all the kids seem to have a fantastic time which was a bonus. Thanks for asking. How was Arkansas.
My friend! Thanks for the kind words and for always supporting me musically--means a bunch. We're having a BBQ for Brooke's birthday in Temple Sat. Sept. 1 with the fam, Brad's parents, and the Hargroves (andrew and his wife)--please come.
Hey, bud! I've been great...just a busy little bee. How is the ministry going? I imagine it's in full-fledged action. I can't wait to hear all about it. p.s. i'll be throwing a shower for my sis labor day wknd. i'll be sending ya'll an invite this wk.
oh i am so glad oregon was great.
and you actually missed snow in temple. it was quite interesting.
i hope things are good and i hope to see you guys soon. we need to make it happen. haha.
love you guys.
Friends, Leeland was, as usual phenomenal. What a great time of worship. The time I had to just sit and watch that generation of youth so on fire about being outspoken for our Lord and Savior was convicting. So I started looking at your site in a little more detail than I've had a chance to. If there is anything I can ever do to help you out, let me know. I don't have much, but I believe in ya'll and your ministry, so everything I have is ya'lls. (And, sadly I'm not the right person to get Leeland on the bandwagon...but as time goes by and my connections grow, we'll see what we can do). If you can get Travis to donate his guitar, banjo, bass playing skills, I'll sing...ha ha.
ha ha ha ha....no, not "casa"--"cosa". oh, friend, you are funny. It basically means "how's it goin'". ah, really great try though. it made me smile. :)
