Who I'd like to meet: I've met most of the people I ever wanted to meet. There are one or two people who've sadly left us way too early, and I would love to have met those people
Thanks very much for the request! I'm afraid we couldn't make it to Liverpool this year but I promise we will do everything to be there in 2009. Cheers from Sweden
hey girl, hope you are doing good. I know you are into Buddy Holly, so i thought i would let you know about the Tommy Allsup tour that is about to start in the Uk next week. We play a series of dates in England and Scotland.
Tommy played guitar on all that Buddy Holly stuff, and is THE guy that flipped the coin with Ritchie Valens on that fateful night of the plane crash.
Don't miss it. Tommy is 76, and full of stories....come out if you can...would be great to see you. Oh, and we recorded some Buddy stuff last week in Nashville, and there is a video of the recording with Tommy in action in my blog.
Anyway, take care. Hope you are doing good.
Sincerely,
Kevin Montgomery
