***************************************************************Growing up, these boys thought Rockabilly songs were written about their own town with the sounds of trains cutting through the City, its muddy river prevelent in every blues song they listened to. It seemed to have Teddy boys on every corner, Rock'n'Roll on every jukebox,and its own top Rockabilly Band ( Crazy Cavan and the Rhythm Rockers)with Rock'n'Roll pumping out of houses on summers evenings..........................
It was this rhythm of life that pushed them into playing this music in their early teens. After years of playing with differing success, and saying that they would have to work together in a group, it has finally happend.
With a mix of self penned numbers and covers, they hit the road running..........................
(Rob) Livestock Davies, started out playing lead guitar with 'Breathless,' having good success, but not enough to make 'em rich. Livestock also played lead guitar as part of the 'Saddle Tramps' with Cavan Grogan and Freddie Fingers Lee. With 'Katsquire', he was able to bring his vocals to the fore. He has continued to develop his song writing skills while playing in various groups such as the 'Killer Dillers' and the 'Jibbering Heaps' and has just spent a couple of years with the Reservoir Cats.
Still wanting to record his own songs, it was time to move on.
He got together with Chris 'Flat Top' Whiting, for a jam to see how it would work. The problem they had was how to stop, as they both like the same sounds. They played song after song after song, they now knew they could work together. Now for a drummer to record with.
They got hold of Graham (sonic) Jones, who said he'd be happy to record with them. Not only that, after one rehearsal he decided he wanted to be a full time member of the band.
