Live @ the Lunchbox is an Acoustic show with Artists playing Original and/or Covers backing themselves with Guitars, Keys, Harps, Slide Guitar and other various instruments.
Bands also play 'unplugged' versions of their music.
Live @ the Lunchbox is a show held every Thursday, 11:45am at Tighes Hill Tafe in Newcastle, Australia. Put on by the Music Buisness Certificate 3 Class, it showcases the talented musicians we have attending our artistic and creative campus. Although Live @ the Lunchbox was only founded at the begining of March 2007, it has grown emensly popular with Students, Teachers and Staff alike.
The campus has very contrasting dynamics, with Students learning trades such as Bricklaying, Engineering, Fashion, Music, Drama and International Studies (just to name a few). So Musicians have the chance to put their art out there, and let it be heard by all sorts of people from all walks of life.
It has been great learning for those who havent had the experience or opportunity to be involved in live performance, and an outlet for the more established artists who wish to build their fanbase and sharpen their performance skills. All production and technical aspects that go with putting on a show are organised and run by the Music Technology students. They too have the chance to experience and learn the in's and out's of Technical Production. Everything is organised and run by the Music Students, providing invaluble knowledge and learning experiences in the Music Industry.
Above all its bringing back a sence of community within the campus, whilst allowing people to share and learn new skills and talents.
hey guys,
Hope you enjoyed the show yesterday, we had a good time playing and are keen to do it again sometime down the track if you are keen to have us.
Hope,Love & Inner strength
