Live @ The Savoy is a monthly gig that has been created by musicians for the sheer indulgence and fun of it.
We want to hear the performers we like, playing the music they like, in an intimate setting.
With insane sound at sane levels, and the ability to record performances.
Surrounded by good people, food, and coffee.
(alcohol can be served with meals)
This venue is child friendly, the gigs are on a week night from 7pm to 9pm, and run on a donation basis to keep it accessible to all locals.
Wheelchair access can be organised.
Melbourne gypsy band, The Woohoo Revue, will be joined by the recently returned Juke Baritone and the Swamp Dogs, to put on a spectacular show at the Gearins Hotel in Katoomba on Thursday 1 October. Doors at 8:30 pm, Tickets $15 at the venue.
The show will bring together two hard working bands with a lot in common- old world charm, flashy instrumental playing and a raging dance floor.
We will be back in Katoomba to play a show at the Clarendon on Sun 2nd August with great Canberra band Mr Fibby. Please come along, it should be a fantastic night.
