TORI AMOS ... theSTART .... YEAH YEAH YEAHS .... Janet Jackson .... Bjork .... DRESDEN DOLLS .... PJ HARVEY .... The Pretenders .... theSTART ... Lily Allen ... Liz Phair ... Nelly Furtado, Pink, Metric, Goldfrapp, Scissor Sisters, Nirvana, and more ..." manic writing, 2006-2007...some shit. Wow, did I fucking say I liked Goldfrapp when I wrote this? Oh wow, don't forsaken me, please, this was over a year ago. They are just an abysmmal eurotrash band, which is sad, because Euromusic tends to be superior. And if you're a fan, in all honesty that's not a diss in my perspective .... it's just a description

    But other than that, despite dumb people who say, 'oh, you won't like them in a few years', I've held the same tastes, only they've grown. But No Doubt's been my favorite band for over 6 years, and always will be :)

  • Movies

    I don't even want to get into this - For the longest time, I didn't watch movies. Finally, I was cured by Indiana Jones and the Crystal Skull and Sex and the City. In retrospect, the entire Star Wars series, the movie Mermaids (with Cher and Winona Ryder), Dangerous Game (about the only GOOD Madonna movie, I'd say; I've never seen a Leage of Their Own, ironically), Meet the Parents and Meet the Fockers, Spanglish (oh, what a fucking masterpiece .... just such a tragedy, you know? actually real dialogue, situations ... brought tears to my eyes when I saw it a couple years back), and Girl Interrupted all come to mind. But I dunno how illuminating that all is.

    Yes, I DID like Degrassi back when it was good; not this over dramatized bullshit that it is now. Seriously, I saw a more recent episode where this guy smokes pot because he has cancer -- and yes of course, it ruins his life. Jesus Christ, isn't that dumb? I mean it'd be dumb whether he had cancer or not, at least in the way it's portrayed; pot's not fucking going to make you act drunk, and it's not like acid, either.
    "My God I seriously watch no TV anymore, it's fucked up. I really like Degrassi.....fucking ELLEN I LOVE YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thats hilarious, isn't it? I like Celebrity Paranormal Project, Flavor of Love it's pretty funny.....Sister, Sister, gotta love it, haha....SURVIVOR, yes I love that show.....errr......American Idol, Wife Swap......anything good that's on I'll give it a try." - talk about "manic writing", so to speak; did I seriously fucking forget Roseanne, the most amazing, most revolutionary, most hilarious show on the universe? fuck me hard,wow!
    I watch only political news and Law and Order SVU for the most part, at least independently speaking. Anderson Cooper is just wonderful, my crush, and I just went crazy when I found out that he's gay, and a gemini like me (his birthday's a day after mine). Regardless, his show is spectacular, and I would absolutely relish it anyway. Lou Dobbs is excellent, great to have an outspoken independent! Even Glenn Beck, the conservative; at least he offers a perspective, explains it reasonably, and cuts out bullshit, even if I don't always agree.
    Well, Nancy Grace doesn't count as political. Oh and that fucking hilarious show, Queen Bees! Wow. And I like interesting documentaries. Roseanne's still golden.

    Harry Potter is AMAZING. I don't give a fuck what anyone has to say. I've read so many good books, but that one is primary. I love books that capture emotion very well within substantial characters, and have structured, unpredictable plots, such as Cassandra Clare's Mortal Instrument Series, or the book Hard Love, which is not as popular as a lot of other teen books but is SPECTACULAR.

    A few other good examples, hm .... Kite Runner was horrifying, but perfect; My Sister's Keeper (which is going to be a movie soon), and anything by Shakespeare other than Romeo and Juliet, which is atrocious.

My name is Jordan, or Joey, or Jordy, or whatever nickname - And when it comes right down to it, seriously, that's just about it. It's totally valid of you to disregard me as just another poser as I say I don't fit into any certain cliche or category, but if you've met me, you know otherwise. I'm definitely an extrovert, and I'm really easy to hang out with. I can potentially get along with anyone, but I have no tolerance for stupidity and unkindness, so a lot of people get knocked out here. I am very spontaneous, and come out with all kinds of crazy shit in my "scattered" brain (as Greg describes it), and am often the source of great humor. People tend to naturally open up to me, probably because I'm very into psychologically analyzing people and situations.

I am a strict vegeatarian, Atheist [fuck you if you hate us], and a writer for thirteen years [my absolute passion, a talent that is one of the only things I've ever been confident about perpetually since I was an insecure kid: it is my driven purpose]. I am an avid reader.

I'm extremely open-minded, and I strongly believe in the zodiac signs as my one solid soruce of faith. I can often guess people's signs, especially other Geminis. The Zodiac signs always turn out to be totally accurate in depth, so I alway stick with that.
I also love politics and always get both sides of the story. Only weak people can't discuss these topics without going apeshit.

If you need a loyal friend I'm that, anyone who knows me would agree, but if you take advantage of me, we will then be instantly ..done.. faster than the speed of light; I expect the same care in return I just do my own damn thing, with my own damn homies. And don't try to be one of them if you're not honest, at least most of the time.
Oh, and also: ..No Doubt is the best band ever, I worship them eternally more than ever, and I'm seeing them on 06/02, my birthday! .. So with that said ...
