Its taken an incredible amount of time & commitment to be 100% employed & independent AND generating 100% original music – every single day!
LVM enterprise is geared around touring our portable studios and a base suite on the Sunshine Coast Qld.
We focus on sustainability & our most recent projects in indigenous remote communities focused on installing recording studios & mentoring trainees in the process of songwriting & recording. We have created a manual for both Logic 8 and songwriting workshops. These projects has outstanding outcomes - just look around this page.
Once the studio is functioning it becomes much more than a music machine as culture, language, oral histories & audio books are just some of the material produced.
LVM projects work for service directed outcomes, cultural groups, youth, disabilities, mental health, womens services, detention centres, aboriginal communities, non english speaking or GLBT. LVM have facilitated projects in many diverse situations.
LVM was created from the desire to make music everyday & community arts is the perfect environment for musicians to have 'a day job'. As a musician not only does it keep our creativity engaged but the outcomes for the community are enormous.
LVM have been asked many times to run workshops to teach a program outlining how & why we have developed our business & mentoring is just another avenue that offers a lasting & empowering impact on a community.
