Livewyre was a band that consisted of 3 guys that loved to play all different kinds of Rock music. Originally founded by Jim Gossau, Eric Duncan, and Danny Scott, this band played what we wanted to, how we wanted to do it. Taking standard covers and upgrading them to our signature sound, was what we did best. We packed clubs all over North Central Arkansas and Southern Missouri for years.
Also occasionally known as, "The Official Band of Mid-States Wrestling", where we play the entrance music for some of the Superstars at special events. Mid-States roster includes such stars as former WWE wrestlers, "Hacksaw" Butch Reed and Kamala "The Ugandan Warrior", as well as "The Commissoner" NWA Hall of Famer Danny Hodge.
....Don't forget about their current stars..."The Space Cowboy" Jason Jones, "Mr. Saturday Night" Michael Barry, "Pimptight" Kevin Lovejones, and "Cast-Iron" Cothern, just to name a few.
Unfortunately, as time goes by and people's lives change, we had to make line-up changes. Danny had finished college and was offered a great job in a town 3 hours away. He had to take it...Eric and I wouldn't have wanted it any other way. He worked hard and his family deserved the better life that this job would provide for them.
So, after numerous line-up changed over the years, be it chemicals, alcohol, attitude, lack of desire, moving to another town, change of jobs, or any other of a long list of things that come along with, "MUSICIANS", we were never really able to recapture the original "FIRE". Not that any of the other players weren't good, but there was something about the original line-up that set us apart from everybody else...probably that whole, "Catching lightning in a bottle" thing...???
We've gone our seperate way, for now, and I will be turning this page into my personal page. Don't worry, I will always keep pictures of the band available to you, "The Fans". Thank you all for the support over the years past and hope that you continue to support us in the future with our new projects.
How random is that though?! I'm staying at Cherokee and was only in West Plains doing some shopping. It's just me this time but the host with the most Mr Horton is keeping me well entertained. I see Livewyre is no more :( need to get me one of those new band shirts!
I could be wrong but were you at West Plains Walmart this evening? If it was you we just walked right past each other! If not, then you have a double! I am in town for a couple of weeks anyway, maybe we will walk past each other again!
Well lemme congratulate yous guys early DAD! I'm coming back to Mtn. Home at the beginning of the month n will be aroud til after the holidays, you guys should play the Lure or something so i can come get some RAWK IN MY FACE!
