The Live Wyya Band is one of reggae music's most selective international bands of emissaries. Our songs have granted us the ability to culturally promote passion & emotion as popularity all over the world. We are a Roots Rock Reggae group of high inspiration, whose aims and objectives is to teach and educate the populace through their music.
Fans of the Live Wyya group have grown to love and appreciate the music over the years and our musical artistry has been supported by some of the legends and most cohesive musicians and entertainers within the industry.
Our group effort has allowed us to further emerge as the number one band in Jamaica, and have earned us various awards, such as the winner of the Irie FM Big Break Competition and maintained the Award for the Best Band in 2002 & 2003 by the Jamaican Music Federation and the Best Backing Band for the 27th International Reggae & World Music Awards, that was being held at the Apollo theatre in New York, in May, 2008.
For the past five (5) years, The Live Wyya group has toured Europe, Asia, North America and the Caribbean extensively, with other artists and musicians, such as, Marcia Griffiths, Jah Cure, Gregory Isaacs and many more
