I am active with a couple of PHI MU Alumnae Chapters in the Metro Atlanta area (I am the Moderator of the Gwinnett Phi Mu Alumnae Chapter's Myspace page-check it out!); Fundraising for CHILDREN'S MIRACLE NETWORK (CMN); on the Judicial Citizens Panel Review for the Forsyth County Juvenile Court (review the welfare of children in Department of Family and Children Services (DFACS) custody);
I am a Grant writer and Manage corporate sponsorships for Georgia SPCA and SPOT Society (Stopping Pet Overpopulation Together)
I love being outside and enjoy working in my yard. Hanging out with my neighbors in my cul-de-sac or Chillin' with my friends and family; LOVE concerts; hanging out at the pool or Lake Lanier for the weekend; mountains in the fall; I love my son Gordon and I am very proud of him (an Eagle Scout!)

I Love pretty much all types of music. From Classic Rock, Alternative Rock, Jazz, Blues, Classical, Opera, Top 40, Hip Hop, and even some Rap, and a little bit of Country...........just depends on my mood and what I am doing.
Movies
Movies I can watch over and over again: My Cousin Vinny (cracks me up each time!!!); Jumping Jack Flash; Steel Magnolias; To Kill A Mockingbird; Braveheart; Pushing Tin, Serendipity....ANYTHING with JOHN CUSACK in it. He is SOOO HOT!!!

News junkie, House, Grey's Anatomy, Law & Order-even all the old re-runs, Boston Legal- LOVE, LOVE, LOVE James Spader & William Shatner's characters. I don't watch too much TV, but when I have the chance these are the shows I like to watch.
Books
All time FAVORITE book is To Kill a Mockingbird...I just LOVE Atticus Finch..my hero!!! Anything and Everything by James Patterson!!!! Pride and Prejudice, Wuthering Heights, Da Vinci Code, Angels and Demons, Andy Stanley, Ann Rule, Kathleen Woodiwiss, Shakespeare, Charles Dickens, D.H. Lawrence, I enjoy all the old classics and have read a lot of them more than once.

I’ll bet you will never meet anyone like me. I'm constantly thinking about things that most people don’t give a darn. When I meet someone new, I will always know almost instantly, if I’m going to like them or not. It's not that I’m snobby, but I can usually tell if someone is a good person or not. People that are independent and creative totally catch my attention. Surrounding yourself with people that aren't positive influences will only bring you down in life. So I try my hardest to keep the best closest. I look at life as one big opportunity. There are always things to learn and grow from.
I change my mind often. I am a person of action. I can be very impulsive. I'll try anything at least once. I'm a thinker and analyze everything. I love getting into people's heads and figuring out the psychology behind their behavior. I'm great at sifting through any kind of BS so don't even try.:-) I welcome any challenge, always fight for what I want...usually end up getting it. I'm the type of person who cracks up out loud about something that happened last week. I'm almost always smiling. My glass is always half full and if yours isn't, I'll convince you otherwise. I'm great with people and have the ability to either make you really uncomfortable or love me...your choice. I have the most amazing and greatest friends. I'd travel year round if I could.

I just found out that Edwin McCain is playing Suwanee Town Center tonight! At 700pm...that's 15 minutes from now. There is NO WAY WE CAN MAKE IT OVER THERE!
OH GAYLE! I have been out of touch for WAY too long, unfortunately I do not have near as much time as I used to...keeping in touch with everyone on the listserve and on myspace :(. I HAVE however been able to keep up with the Twin Cities Alumnae chapter and that makes me happy!
