We are inspired by the restless and misguided lives, stacks of unpaid bills lying in sinks, the love, the loss, great architecture and design, the absurd and the vulgar, sweat, blistered fingers and minds, lacking bath and time to pray, sunsets, and of course the great rock and roll forefathers/mothers.
Living Better Electrically is a rock snob's wet dream. With well crafted pop songs featuring clever layered arrangements, a wealth of interesting sounds, and rock and roll swagger, LBE makes post-millenial classic rock suitable for hipster kids and record collecting geeks alike. Basically, they're middle-brow geniuses.
There's synergistic interaction that can only happen in bands with siblings. It's layered, well-arranged edgy pop music. It's songs from clever and creative writers. Vocals by damn near everybody. What you've got here is a rock band which has exploded with ideas while exploring a wide range of influences all filtered through their nostalgic love of melody, harmony, and southern exaggeration.
