Miles Sagnia & Toby Slade-Baker, (Living City), a joint collaboration which was conceived years ago, while playing independently as DJs, meeting at each others club nights, (Surge + Freak), started playing records together after a few 18 hour jam sessions, which led to club residencies, events, free parties and so on, both here in the UK and internationally, while our joint interpretation of the sound grew into a fixated dedication - while each following our musical paths - recognising there was a similar essence in the music we played that worked well together. 'Living City' a shared vision / cause, of what we would like to think is good music.
After a long period of working together, Living City is going through a transitional period, where we are both engaged in developing other projects and experimental ideas, taking us down different paths. Being close friends, the "City" is here to stay and serve as a platform for anything we do together, but for the moment and immediate future it lies dormant, awaiting our next future studio workout later down the line.. We are looking forward to coming up with more produced sonic messages for you all in the future
