I guess I would have to say Ron Paul because he is to me a modern day Thomas Jefferson. He has stepped up to the plate and always points to the constitution not popular opinion. He is a State's Man, not a politician. He speaks the truth and he has told us we are the government. Not the other way around. He has true grit. A leader in civil disobedience. One who thinks outside of the box. He has created a movement that moves me. I want our constitution back. And, I want big government gone! Ron Paul is perhaps one of the only men in these times who has made history repeat itself in love for freedom. Another Boston Tea Party and now a new revolution. R[evol}ution.
About me: I have always wanted to travel and see the world. I love life and the wonderful people who make it both a pleasure and a challenge. It has taken me all these years to realize that life doesn't just happen, we make it happen. All of it. Knowing this gives me the power and control over my life. I like snorkeling, swimming with the fish of the sea. I like dogs, kids and horses. They all like to play and so do I. I enjoy being physical. That one is an open forum! LOL Really, I guess I just like being me. I am not perfect or flawless, but I am unique. I like it that way. Nobody else can be me. And, I don't want to be anyone else. I am a mother of three adult kids who have given me three beautiful, wonderful grandchildren. This is where I find my heart the most. It is in family that I thrive. I was married for 22 years and that is just another chapter of my life. Some good and some not so good. I like the paranormal. It really has been an adventure for me. I enjoy good talk, good people and good coffee. How about you?
Who I'd like to meet: I want to be with the kind of person{s}, who have the kind of energy that finds it's way through obstacles, over them and around them. They just get it done. I want to be with people who have a great sense of humor and aren't worried about what other people think of them. I would like to meet people who dance with life because that is what keeps us alive! I want to meet spiritual people who are open minded and yet conservative in principal. I would like to meet giving people who realize that giving is a true privilege. I want to be with people who recognize that we are all together part of the whole and that nobody is outside of us. We each matter and we know life is really pretty good. So, if any of that sounds like you.....say hello to me!!!
I hate "spamming" but really want to share this: It's been a juggernaut, but "IF THE RAINS DON'T CLEANSE" (my novel about my parents' experiences as schoolteachers in 1950s Africa) is finally marked as "IN STOCK" at Amazon.com. Over the 4th of July weekend they sold out and for almost a week I was horrified that would-be readers were seeing a red "OUT OF STOCK" message when they tried to get a copy. But all is now well, RAINS is getting strong reviews and a grown-up readership, and I'm thrilled. I invite you to visit my MySpace blog to read a sample chapter or two ... and listen to an audiobook excerpt. Thanks.
Thank you for being a new MySpace friend. I hate "spamming" but really want to share this:

I am so greatly sorry for your loss:-( roxy was more like your daughter then just a pet... Its funny but sometimes in life our truest friends are our dogs they love unconditionally and stay true no matter what! They talk about the prints in the sand and how there is only one set at time to time when the good Lord carried you through but I believe if you look closely Roxy's are right there along next to you as well! Your in my thoughts and prayers and Wyatt and I love you lots;-)
