Influences
Johnny Cash was a big influence when I was learning music as a teen.
I like country music.but i stared out singing rock & roll & country music , Also Gospel singing groups influenced me,after becoming a Christian. like john starne johnny cash gold city bonnie keen jessy dixon paul wilbur janet paschal & of chorus jimmy swaggard , Most of all,I loved the church choir.They sang with
joy,and a fervor of spirit.There was such a shine in those faces.That was what cemented me with that church - the great choir.I later began to play guitar in the church and with a church group..I play lead and sing lead also,write a lot of the groups material.My wife was the biggest influence in getting me in church and encouraging me
to use my talents for the Lord. F it weren't 4 judy praying 4 me i mite stell b playing rock & roll , but she just would not give up in me , And she has been by my side as my biggest fan and helper.

Some Personal info about Gene and his interests:Gene likes western cut blue Genes and western shirts and boots.He also pumps iron, and body builds.Gene collects old western comics & He has a huge collection of movies,mostly westerns.He also has documentary films covering subjects
ranging from crime & criminals,the Holocaust,wildlife,and more.He has many religious,Christian films.He's what people call, " a jack of all trades" .He's done roofing, carpentry,painting,auto repair,minor plumbing repair,laying
floor tile,and more He's a real handy man around the house.Gene is a good cook also.He likes oldie rock & roll and oldie country.Favorite female star is Doris Day.Watches classic tv westerns all the time.Few favorite movies include ,Heaven Can Wait; Bonnie And Clyde;Anger Management.Also has many home movies of his family and of the Living Water Singers.Gene preached for twelve years,pastoring a small mission.

What truer words of love can be spoken than from the heart of a friend who is going to spend an eternity with you? Even if those words hurt, they are words that will heal.

DEVOTIONAL THOUGHT: Have you ever noticed that the title God chose to describe Himself is an incomplete sentence? Now, most people would finish that sentence, "I am..." but not our Lord. He purposefully did not complete the sentence. "I AM." He is. Are you hungry? He is the bread. Are you in the dark? He is the light. Are you searching? He is the truth. Are you lost? He is the way. Are you in need? He is your Shepherd.
ACTION POINT: What need are you looking to God to meet today? Trust Him right now to meet you there.
