L'aventure Livin'Soul a pris fin... Aprés 10 ans de vie communes, de concerts, de bonheurs, de création et tout ce qui va avec la vie d'un groupe, chacun est parti pour de nouvelles aventures musicales. L'occasion pour nous de vous remercier pour votre soutien, vos oreilles, vos cris, vos conseils, les bieres partagées, les accueils chaleureux et les échanges en tout genre.

Livin Soul joue une musique toujours ensoleillée, autour d’un chant fort et puissant, nous entrainant loin des terrains conquis, où Nina Simone flirte avec un certain Bob…

Les Livin' Soul sont au nombre de sept, tous originaires du Poitou Charente ( région découverte il y a peu par bon nombre de français grâce à une certaine candidate à une certaine élection). Le groupe doit son existence aux rencontres de Paul (batteur), Arthur (guitare), Julien (clavier) et Seb (chant et guitare), alors collégiens ! Ensemble, ils tâtent la reprise (Beatles, Ray Charles, du gospel…) puis découvrent Marley et le reggae. La voie est toute tracée. Les rangs s'élargissent, la formation connaît un temps une section cuivres, et se voit stabilisée, au passage du nouveau millénaire, par les arrivées de John (guitare), Hugo (sax ténor, flûte), Loïc (basse). Les trois albums du groupe ont été autoproduits et distribués par Mosaïc Music Distribution, distributeur indépendant basé à Toulouse.

Livin' Soul has got seven members, all from west of France. A group formed after the meetings of Paul (drummer), Arthur (guitar), Julien (keyboards) and Seb (song and guitar), then schoolboys! Together, they tried the cover versions (Beatles, Ray Charles, gospel...) then discover Marley and the reggae. The route was clear and the road widened, the group spends a bit of time with brass, and gets settled, during the new millenium, after the arrivals of John (guitar), Hugo (sax tenor, flute) and Loïc (bass guitar). The three albums were produced by the group and signed by the Active Sound label, Mosaic Music label, an independent Distributor based in Toulouse.
