The box is wide open and the licks are the influences of four extremely talented Texas musicians, who deliver an exciting, and fresh new sound to the Austin Music World. Some calling it "Austin Rock". Originating in Austin, Texas LIXBOX covers and originals have that distinctive style that quickly is becoming recognized has garnered significant attention among Austin and surrounding area music scene. LIXBOX is not about the precanned music you find so many pop bands using in Austin. Its about real people on real instruments with real feeling. That is what Austin has always been about and LIXBOX is a true Austin Band.

Lead Singer/Guitarist, Brad Falch -
Brad Falch has been singing his whole life. Growing up in South Austin gave him a desire for music so he picked up a guitar at an early age and began performing. Brad and Mike have been in various bands in the Austin area for over 8 years now. Brad has dedicated himself to provide impassioned vocals and creative high quality songs that showcase his powerful voice. LIXBOX lead singer and front man has all the great qualities needed for successful bands.
Singer/ Lead Guitarist, Larry Schmidt -
Born in El Paso, Texas. He had his first guitar at age 12. He was recording and performing by age 15. Larry has entertained people through out the southwest every since. Hooked up with Mike in 2006 after they found out they both loved the same style of music that Larry describes as, when you are performing and you close your eyes, you can feel the music all the way down to your soul. His incredible lead techniques are opening eyes in the Austin area music scene and the word is out that this guy can play. A perfect fit for LIXBOX.
Singer/Bassist, Clyde Browning -
Hails from Dallas, Texas. Clyde has played the Austin music scene for over 12 years. Recently he did a four year gig overseas in Europe, southern France. Yes, he speaks French now, but still can't play the accordion. Clyde returned to the Austin musical roots in December 2006. Austin is where Clyde's bass lines express his artistic rhythms, his passion to play, and his desire to wow and entertain the public. Recently, nick name Clyde "Lava Lamp" Browning at an ACL weekend gig in 2008. The nick name has a great story behind it and he loves to tell it. Mike(drums) and Clyde(bass) have been performing together for over 7 years before his departure to France.
Singer/Drummer, Mike Kling -
Growing up in Beaumont, TX gave Mike a taste of New Orleans style funk and Zydeco. He tells us, “I love a good solid pull-em-out on the dance floor, with funky, rhythmic beats and swirling accents of cymbals and toms. I create a swirling, pulsing, beat that just seems to suck them onto the dance floor, just like a strong Texas Gulf undertow. Mikes percussion techniques drive and support our songs and with his genuis sense of touch he is LIXBOX greatest asset. Mike is the main reason LIXBOX formed.
