ok, I've been meaning to find this out for some time, you gave me the push LOL. Rod Taylor. Yes, the man speaking in that video is Aaron Russo's very good friend, Rod Taylor. Again, I think it's one of the all-time greatest speeches ever given.
hey liz! nah, that's not me. if you scroll down on the page you will find that speech is coming from a youtube vid I have embedded with autoplay. I'm not sure who the guy talking is, but it's from an old Aaron Russo production from the 1990's "Mad As Hell". It is a great speech though isn't it? Even if it's a little dated (the Soviet Union "until less than a decade ago - more like a couple decades ago now lol, but still quite relevant, all the more so in fact. I should try and find out who he is, his voice is very familliar to me. But yeah, it was taken from Aaron Russo's "Mad As Hell". I like the part where he says "...so we should all be very angry, because anger is the engine that drives our will to resist. And without resistance, without awareness, they WILL take it all. That's not just politically perverse; it's a sin against mankind, because freedom is actually sacred." I think this is one of the ALL-TIME greatest speeches ever given. Here it is.
Do you know who he is? Yeah, I agree it's great to see Neal getting so much recognition; he deserves it. I have been wanting to pick up a copy of his CD - money's pretty tight though. I will when I can.
