NOW:
Liza is currently living in the Tweed Coast area of Northern New South Wales, where she has found herself to be much in demand as a soloist throughout the Gold Coast, Brisbane and the Tweed Coast areas. She has performed at many venues such as QPAC (Brisbane), Gold Coast Arts Centre, Brisbane Convention Centre, St. John’s Cathedral, Government House Brisbane, Logan Entertainment Centre, Seagull’s, Club Banora, Sheraton Hotel, Palazzo Versace, Jupiter’s Casino and many more theatres and entertainment venues throughout the area.

Coming highlights for this year and the next will include; more performances as a soloist with orchestra at QPAC, performances in Fiji, a regional tour of Queensland’s major performing venues, and a new initiative to bring opera to the masses via shows in Westfield shopping centres throughout Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane.

In Phantom of the Opera at the Princess theatre: Understudying and performing Carlotta with the Marina Prior/Rob Guest cast.
In London: Touring England (venues both large and small) as Queen of the Night with London Opera Players.
In the Czech Republic performing Zerlina in Don Giovanni.

In North Korea (April ‘07) as a prize winner in one of the world’s largest and most unique music festivals. Participation was by invitation only and aprox 700 artists perform there annually.

PREVIOUS HISTORY:
After starting a degree in piano performance at the Queensland Conservatorium her potential as a vocalist was soon spotted when she was awarded a prize for singing. After participating in leading roles in the opera school, she continued her studies in Sydney, and then later in London and Vienna with prominent vocal teachers.
Whilst in sydney, Liza performed many leading soprano roles in musicals, opera and operettas, such as Gilbert and Sullivan’s “Patience” and “Pirates of Penzance”; Galathea in Von Suppe’s “The Beautiful Galathea”; Gilda in “Rigoletto”; Olympia in Offenbach’s Tales of Hoffman; Musetta in “La Boheme”; Amor in Gluck’s “Orfeo ed Euridice”. There have been many concerts in The Sydney Opera House; Concert hall and many venues in and around Sydney. In London she performed often as a soloist with the Bottesini Duo; and in two London seasons with Modern Music Theatre Troupe.
