Previous to forming the band I played acoustic nights round London. For a while now I have wanted to put a band together to create music that would represent how I wanted my music to sound.
All together we make five with Brago on drums, Ash on Guitar, Matthew and Alex on trumpet and myself on vocals/keyboard. We try to play as often as possible around London and are always looking for gigs. So let us know if you run music nights !

I am influenced by many performers, but in particular Ella Fitzgerald, Carol King,Susan Vega, Joni Mitchell, Eva Cassidy, Ani Defranco and Kate Bush. My appreciation of their work is based not only on performance but also composition detail and the messages contained in their music. I am particularly impressed with how each of these women has succeeded in performing timeless work, which can be enjoyed by a diverse audience. I want to be able to bridge the gap between different age groups and I regard them as role models for doing this.
Please let me know if you think I remind you of another artist or if you can hear influences in my work. It is always very interesting to see other peoples perceptions of my music.
Hi my name is Liza I'm a singer/songwriter. I have been singing and playing music for many years. I trained both classically and in Jazz, Pop and musical theatre. I decided to continue my training after leaving school and went on to do BA Music. I have been writing music (composition and lyrics) since I was nine years old. I love listening, writing and watching music. It is the only thing that feeds my soul and lifts it when I am tired, sad, lonely or affraid. My ambition is to be a successful singer-songwriter, as well as a songwriter for other performers. My music falls into the genre of modern acoustic folk/pop.
