i bought an old fashioned type writer at the Goodwill yesterday and while typing a rather lengthy letter to Jeff Goldblum about the evolution of dance, i broke every one of my fingers. soooooo, you're shit out of luck.
I really like your sound Liza. I hope to make it to your upcoming show! I am new to Richmond and am trying to get a feel for the music scene here- I hope to meet you sometime soon! Best wishes with everything.
I just told my coworker to listen to your myspace music, and she did. She said she liked it and asked who you were, and this is what I said:
She's this girl-lady who's lived here as long as I have and probably several years more. I remember, I think in the summer of 03 (maybe it was even 04 but I don't think so) I would see her walking around with her boo, and I think he's the same one as now but I didn't know him then so I can't say for sure, who I think she was maybe just falling in love with that summer. And not a lot of people had american apparel stuff then, because they were kind of new and didn't yet have a store around here. But she had the same grey shirt as me and she was almost always wearing it when I saw her, and so was I. So I would see her and think "she looks interesting, and she has on my shirt." Now I know her a little more, and she's one of my favorite people to see play music in Richmond.
Brother Pele's in the back, sweet Zina's in the front Cruisin' down the freeway in the hot, hot sun Suddenly red-blue lights flash us from behind Loud voice booming, "Please step out onto the line" Pele preaches words of comfort, Zina just hides her eyes Policeman taps his shades, "Is that a Chevy '69?"
